Diamond Groove Cutters
Diamond groove cutters create V-grooves, decorative channels, crisp profile lines and panel details in wood, MDF and cabinet materials. They suit door designs, furniture accents, signage and repeat decorative routing when the groove angle and depth need to remain consistent.

Compare the geometry

Included angle: choose the angle that matches the visible line or panel design.
Cutting diameter and depth: confirm the available clearance and the required groove size.
Shank or holder: match the tool to the collet, arbor or CNC holder.
Material: check the product notes for wood, MDF, cabinet board or other material before use.

Use a controlled test cut
Small depth changes can noticeably change the width and appearance of a V-groove. Use a fence, template or CNC path to keep the cutter aligned, make a test cut in matching scrap and confirm the finished line before routing a visible panel. Clear chips and use a light finishing pass when the setup and material allow it.

Common questions
How do I choose the angle? Start with the required visual line or drawing, then compare the included angle and cutting dimensions in the product specification.
Can diamond groove cutters be used on every board? No. Confirm the product material notes and test the surface for chipping or delamination before production routing.
What should I include in a compatibility request? Send the machine or holder, material, required angle and groove dimensions, quantity and delivery country to sales@bitsrouter.com.
