V Groove Router Bits
V groove router bits cut angled grooves, lettering details, signmaking lines, decorative channels and chamfer-like accents in wood, MDF and plywood. They are useful for panels, signs, furniture details and cabinet face designs.
Choose by angle, cutting diameter, tip shape, shank size and groove depth. Narrow angles create sharper lines, while wider angles remove more material and produce a broader visual groove.
Control depth carefully, use consistent feed and test the line width on scrap before routing final decorative surfaces.
