Dual-Bearing Flush Trim Router Bits
Dual-bearing flush trim router bits use bearings at both ends of the cutter to give more routing options when following templates, patterns or reference edges. They are useful for duplicate parts, edge cleanup and grain-direction changes.
Choose by cutting length, cutting diameter, shank size and bearing arrangement. Dual-bearing designs let the user switch reference sides when the workpiece or grain direction makes one routing direction cleaner.
Rough-cut close to the line first, keep the bearing against the template and take lighter passes to reduce tear-out.
