MCRT26 TCT 3-Flute Straight Bit, 1/2 Inch Shank, 6 mm Diameter x 20 mm Cut is for grooves, dados, slots, shallow pockets and straight sizing cuts in wood, MDF and plywood. Its 1/2 in shank must match the router collet or machine holder exactly.

Before Routing

Confirm the cutting diameter, cutting length and required depth for the project. Set the fence, guide or toolpath from test stock, and use multiple passes for deeper cuts. Make sure the machine and workholding are suitable for the cutter diameter and planned material removal.

Routing Tips

Keep the stock supported and the feed consistent. Clear chips to reduce heat buildup, especially in deeper slots or MDF. Use a test cut before routing visible panels, then adjust depth or feed based on edge quality and fit.
